Younger sibling requests Down syndrome sister to serve as Maid of Honor at his wedding

Sibling love is incredibly unconditional, which is maybe what makes it the most beautiful.

As brothers and sisters, we frequently argue, slander one another, provoke rage in one another, etc. However, in the end, your siblings are the ones who will always be at your side.

According to accounts, Chris Garafola considered his upbringing to be very lucky. He benefited from having an older sister with whom he formed a close relationship because he was born into a loving home.

The siblings were inseparable as children despite being two years apart in age. According to Chris, he and Brittany were a “package deal,” and he never missed an occasion to express his love for her.

Chris sent a heartfelt message on Instagram about Brittany, saying: “Always poured her love onto him, challenged him, and taught him timeless lessons—giving him countless opportunities to grow (quickly) as a man, and become the best BROTHER he could possibly be.”

Brittany had her own set of difficulties because she was born with Down syndrome. But having her younger brother Chris by her side made every obstacle she overcome easier.

It goes without saying that as they matured into adulthood, their relationship only grew stronger. As a result, when Chris met Tatiana, the love of his life, and later proposed to her, he knew that Brittany would undoubtedly play a significant role in their wedding.

However, there was one small issue: Brittany had a compromised immune system as a result of her illness, so she had to have the COVID-19 shot before going to any social events. The decision to postpone their nuptials until Brittany could witness them was one that Chris and Tatiana both agreed upon.

Brittany received her vaccination in February 2021, allowing Chris and Tatiana to start planning their wedding

Chris, a male model, uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in late March of the same year in which Tatiana could be seen speaking with Brittany on FaceTime.

Brittany was stunned to learn that her younger brother was engaged, but what Tatiana asked her next absolutely left her speechless.

In the video, Tatiana can be seen asking: “And you know what I wanted to ask you? Can you be my maid of honor?”

Brittany responded with joyous tears as she said: “Yes, I can.”

As a result, Chris and Tatiana were married in April 2021, with Brittany serving as the maid of honor.

The newlyweds then disclosed that they had given Brittany a special ring as a surprise on their wedding day.

Chris said: “She’s been my best friend since day one and even once I’m married, it won’t change.”

Needless to say, the photographs of Chris, Tatiana, and Brittany became viral online. The sheer amount of love encapsulated in the photographs is enough to soften even the hardest of hearts.
