The actress experienced immense ba’ck’la’ sh and confessed to hiding for several weeks. According to People, when Jarrett was asked how she felt about Barr’s comments, she dismissed it and said, “Roseanne who?”.
But, when asked if she would be watching Barr’s stand-up performance, the former gov ern ment official said she would not and hoped no one else would for the sak e of a “teac hable moment” for the comedian.

Barr was aware of Jarrett’s response and said, “I recognize she thinks I wronged her,” and said initiating a public ap ology was fru st ra”ting because she was ridicu’l’ ed for the same thing rep’ eatedly.
However, amid the controversy, Barr ap’olo’gized and c’ite’d she was leaving Twitter. The actress exp’ressed that the bac’klash ended her c’areer and life, but she was proud to have overcome it.
